What we collect
We do not run accounts, comments, newsletters or contact forms, so we do not ask you for personal information and we do not store any. Like almost every website, our server records standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer and timestamp — in an access log used for security and for aggregate traffic counting.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies. If advertising or analytics cookies are served on a page, they are set by the third-party services described below, and you can refuse or delete them through your browser settings or through the consent banner where one is shown.
Google AdSense and DoubleClick
This site is supported by advertising and may show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies — including the DoubleClick DART cookie — enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, and you can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Where required by law, a consent message is shown before any non-essential cookie is set, and you can change your choice at any time from the link in the page footer.
Your rights under GDPR (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to be informed, of access, to rectification, to erasure, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object to processing. Our lawful basis for the limited server logging described above is legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure. For advertising cookies, the lawful basis is consent, which you may withdraw at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
Your rights under CCPA/CPRA (California)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to request correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as that term is commonly understood. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]; requests are answered within 45 days.
Links, children and changes
Entries link to other sites, whose privacy practices we do not control. This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it; material changes are noted on the page rather than made silently.
